About Zurich

Zurich has something for each taste. The city is built at the northern end of the Lake of Zurich and you have a wonderful view on the Swiss Alps. In the international comparison the largest city of Switzerland (361 000 inhabitants) remains a modern "town", but offers all advantages of a large city: The old part of Zurich on both sides of the Limmat, the famous "Bahnhofstrasse", and the lake promenade unite the natural beauty of Switzerland with a worldurban charm. The cultural variety is quite broad. From the opera with international reputation, the "Hall of Arts" to various small theatres, Zurich has lots to give. Über Kloten

Noch zu Beginn der 50er Jahre war Kloten ein beschauliches 3000 Einwohner zählendes Bauerndorf. Verkehr, Handel und Industrie hatten noch kaum Einzug gehalten. Anfangs der 60er Jahre mit dem Bau des Flughafens setze ein massiver Entwicklungsschub ein. Heute zählt Kloten 17'734 Einwohner und ist die "Heimat" des grössten Flughafens der Schweiz (Unique Airport).
